WhyWatch is a movie and TV show discovery platform that provides information about where to stream, rent, or buy content online in India. We aggregate streaming availability data from various platforms and present it in an easy-to-use interface. We do not host, stream, or sell any movies or TV shows. We simply link to third-party platforms where content may be available. The availability and pricing of content on those platforms is subject to change and is controlled by the respective platform providers.
3. Use of the Service
You may use WhyWatch for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to: use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service; copy, modify, or distribute any content from the Service without our written permission; or use the Service to send spam or malicious content. The WhyWatch website design, logo, and original content (excluding movie data) are our intellectual property. Movie data, images, and related information displayed on the Service are sourced from TMDB (The Movie Database) and are used under their terms of service. TMDB data is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License. We are not the creators or owners of movie posters, stills, or other copyrighted visual content — these belong to their respective studios and distributors.
5. Affiliate Links and Advertising
Some links on WhyWatch may be affiliate links, meaning we earn a small commission if you make a purchase or subscription through them. This does not affect the price you pay. We also display advertisements through Google AdSense. These ads are clearly distinguishable from our editorial content. We disclose affiliate relationships in accordance with FTC guidelines.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content, streaming availability information, or pricing.
